Katherine received the March of Dimes Top 10 "Star Performer" honor 5 times and a staff excellence award for Volunteer Development. As Executive Director, she implemented a complete turnaround in board structure by recruiting and training a new board that is diverse and an Advisory Board of top community leaders
As a board member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals Katherine has served as Vice President of Membership. Under her leadership in this position the organization grew to it largest membership ever and she created a member night and Executive Director Forum to help advance and educate Fundraising Professionals.
