Show Your Graduating Seniors How to….

Use Facebook to Launch A Successful Career!

NEW Webinar JUST for your students and graduating seniors!

Your graduating students know how to use Facebook as a social networking tool, but they have no idea how to use Facebook professionally. Used improperly, Facebook could end up being a ROADBLOCK to their career, rather than a successful tool to help launch their career

That’s where we can help!

By the time the students of the class of 2010 graduate - Facebook will have over 300,000,000 members. Once the exclusive domain of college students, Facebook is now being used by individuals of all ages and organizations around the world.

  • In fact, HR departments and hiring managers are using Facebook to find and communicate with prospective employees.
  • And, a recent CareerBuilder study showed that 29% of hiring managers were using Facebook to research new hires.

This represents a new opportunity and RISK for your students!

We’ve designed a very special Webinar that will show your graduates how to use one of their favorite social networking sites as a career development and management tool.

Your graduating seniors will learn:

      1. How to “friend” recruiters without giving them access to personal information
      2. Five ways to set up Facebook to manage a job search
      3. Three ways to use alumni connections at companies students want to work for
      4. How to keep up to date on job fairs and career center information inside their NewsFeed
      5. Two things NOT to do on your Facebook profile page
      6. How to find companies that are using Facebook Public Profile Pages
      7. How to link their Linkedin account with their Facebook Page
      8. How to join groups within a field of expertise or narrow niche
      9. Simple techniques to find mentors
     10. Proven methods to professionally network

Invite your students to your office, a conference room or auditorium to learn 10 ways they can use Facebook in their job search. Invite one, 10 or a hundred to attend!

This is a great way to get more graduating seniors to visit your career center or alumni office.
